The description of this product as being "hand warming" led me to believe this was the "heated" type. It is NOT...and the company does not offer the heated type. The company was clearly not trying to mislead, but somebody who knew there were two types of Wristies might be confused, as I was.

(More customer reviews)This is a newer tuner by Boss with double the accuracy from their old tuners. Boss added more lights to the front panel so it is easier to see how off you are out of tune. The battery is easy to change (no tools needed) and the lights are pretty bright to see in the sun. Of course, the pedal mutes the instrument when it's tapped, so this is great to tune up between songs. I use this for my violin, paired with the Boss EQ pedal, which makes the perfect combo for a musician on stage. Runs on a single 9 volt that lasts many many hours. Just remember to UNPLUG the input 1/4" jack when you're not going to use it for a while, otherwise it will drain the battery

I would refuse to play guitar without it, its that simple. you can pretty much create any sound you want and i would consider the whammy pedal just as important as my guitar. its easy to use, and extremely worth it, dont second guess here, put up the money trust me its worth it. Ive been playing with it for over a year now and even if all I had was $200 to my name, id still spend every last penny on this pedal.
