(More customer reviews)Played in a couple of bands in the 80's and we used the Peterson Classic tuner a huge and ungodly thing. Now however, with the Peterson Stomp Classic things are more personal. Right at the forefront of my current arsenal, true bypass, a click of the switch and a quick tune and right back at it smooth transition, multiple functions, great design and durable(I wear boots and have big feet so it better take a beatin'). I highly recommend this tuner, a little higher priced than some but worth it in the long run!

This publication is 157 pages of History, expert techniques suggesting quality playing of music provided, pictures, locations originated, folklore, examples of dancing techniques done with the songs to help get the feel of what is needed in playing with proper emotions, etc. I could go on and on. It is a sort of teaching tool that does not make you feel like your in a class. He refers to it as a course not meant for the total beginner on violin. Not only very insightful suggestions from a man who obviously loves the music and wants to spread the joy in it but a man who is serious in the art. There is also referals to other areas of Irish Fiddle information. My whole family will enjoy this book for years to come.

The luthier is recommending that the bridge be re-worked, strings replaced and finger board re-adjusted to make this viola comfortable to play. That is going to cost as mush as the original price itself.
