(More customer reviews)I bought this Viola for my daughter but am very sorry I did. She was able to tell the difference in the sound immediately and she doesnt like the bow at all. She loved playing the viola while using the rented one from school but since she turned in the schools and got this one she's only played it maybe twice. I would not recommend anyone buying this.

(More customer reviews)I don't know anything about violas, but my son wanted on to tinker with and learn how to play. This is a beautiful viola. It came well packaged and undamaged. If you are unfamiliar with violas, you have to be prepared to pay about $30 to have the bridge and post installed by a music shop, unless you know how to do it. We had to pay extra because the post was too long.
