1 - Arrived with a broken shoulder rest.
2 - Their description claims wooden pegs, fingerboard and tail piece - NOT - all of these parts are molded plastic. Result? Pegs don't stay in tune, fingerboard flexes when prssing on high notes.
3 - More false claims, the so called 'padded case' is really a cheap canvas like bag, similar to a childs backpack you'd find for 5 dollars (or less) in a discount store.
4 - Bow is not rigid enough, can only get the hair taught enough by really over tightening it. Don't know how long it would survive in that mode.
5 - Included 'instructions' - one sheet of paper with a few useless points.
You should also be aware that you have to pay shipping in both directions - in my case that's $18 I's like to have back.
I gave it one star because of the pretty paint job.
Actually, this wouldn't even make a nice toy, giving it to a prospective musician would most likely leave them frustrated to the point of giving up all together on the violin.
