(More customer reviews)I've tried many rosins. So far this is my favorite. There is a 2nd version - Melos Light - which becomes useful during hot, humid summers. But the presence of air conditioning generally makes the Melos Dark Rosin work well year round.
Melos powders a bit, but all that means is that it's good to wipe down your instrument and strings after each session - not a real problem. Gives good grip to all 3 of my bows and makes the cheapest actually sound (more or less) decent...
