Within an hour of opening he was already trying to learn with the accompanying materials. The case is also sturdy and very nice. It was shipped as a gift and the gift bag it was packaged in was a large blue velvet material with a yellow string, making it perfect as a Christmas gift! I was very pleased with this purchase.
