(More customer reviews)I placed this string on a violin that tends to have strong shrill response on the e-string and it has turned into a very sweet and expressive sound. I was quite surprised and pleased. The previous e string had also been squeaking on chords, and this e-string is very clean and does not squeak, and quite responsive without being harsh.
