(More customer reviews)My daughters violin teacher (who plays in an orchestra)told us it was time to move up in string quality and recommended Pirastro Evah Pirazzi which she uses. I wanted strings that were less expensive, and based on the previous review, decided to try these. The cost of these strings, through Amazon, is lower than the cost of basic strings at the local music shop, but the sound quality is so much better. If I had known what a difference the strings made, I would have started her off with better strings from the beginning.
