(More customer reviews)Unlike the Evah Pirazzi violin strings, the windings are even and don't interfere with insertion into the tailpiece. The strings produce a warm yet clear tone that performs well both in small ensembles and in orchestra use. The break-in period is reasonable and the strings remain stable much longer than Obbligato. I find them excellent overall for full-time professional use.
