Stylish, functional piece of equipment. Chair strap helps tremendously on slippery auditorium floors. Finish is durable and beautiful. Tremendous value for the product. As for sound enhancement, I did not notice anything different whilst playing aside from my endpin not slipping away from me with the cello attached.
Detriments:
Tricky to set up at first, it wasn't obvious to me initially whether to use the black plastic dot or the pre-drilled hole. Rubber padding convenient isolator and slip-stopper; however, it is very unreliable on its own on slippery hardwood floors. Chair strap is removable although I highly recommend its use on every floor without carpeting.
Side note:
Although I have only played on this rock stop for a few months, it seems hardy enough to withstand years of use, even in college.
