(More customer reviews)This is the E string that plays best on my chamber and solo violins. It is a matter of what suits a particular violin and the inherent tension of the set of strings chosen. Westminster E strings don't whistle and play easily with a less metalic sound than many strings. A real joy on my 100 year old as well as my new violin.
