(More customer reviews)when the manufacturer says that it's a good beginner violin, that's truly all it is good for. My family has ordered from these companies before, and they are not worth the money that must be put forth later. Colored violins bought online are NOT of any quality because all it is is cheap laquer on a plywood violin. Don't let the price tag fool you: these violins can cost anywhere from $200-$800 in repairs not long after recieving them. the bridge hasn't been cut for the instrument, and the pegs are of low quality. Also, the bow and case are flimsy and will break easily. Please, trust in a seasoned violinist and take your business to a music store or a reputable company such as Scherl and Roth, Glaesel, Eastman, and Lewis & Son.

This is a good violin for the beginning musician. It features maple back and sides and pearwood fingerboard. Includes free featherweight Carrying Case, with Strap and Carrying Handle, and Rosin. Also includes wood bow with geniune horse hair. The included carrying case makes it convenient to carry to school or lessons. This violin set makes a great gift and is a great value for the money!
