Having no knowledge of violins, the first thing I did when I received it was to take it to her music teacher to check it over for me. She was thoroughly impressed with its quality and said it was far better than the other instruments from internet purchases she has seen in the past. The carrying case seems to be of good quality as well. It arrived very quickly and well packaged. The only other thing I can share is that my daughter loves it!
