(More customer reviews)I used to use cheap rubber mutes that rattled when not in use, so I would always take them off of my instrument and lose them. The Bech magnetic mute hasn't rattled, even during some of my most vigorous playing on the lower strings. Therefore, it's not coming off my instrument and I won't lose it. When it is in use, it makes a really nice tone. Get one and never be caught without your mute in rehearsal. It's well worth the money.
