(More customer reviews)I have had this violin for a few weeks now. The first time I tried to tune it I found the pegs had no grip. My instructor had me sand them and use liquid "peg dope" to get them to stay in place. It has been much easier to tune the instrument since. The violin seems to be taking a while to break in. The sound is good enough for me at this point as I am a beginner. This was a very good deal and I feel I can use it for at least my first year, as long as I stick with it. Also, it is a pretty instrument.
