My initial thoughts were - this is a little too light, it won't hold a tune and it just feels cheap. Once my daughter's violin instructor looked it over and tuned it for me, she gave her thumbs up and said it's a great beginner violin, especially for the little amount that it costs. With the right amount of pressure on the pegs, it holds its tune just fine.
